Executive PT Hero Still

Get your shoulder back. All the way back.

The reach for the top shelf you think twice about. The bench press you dropped years ago. The ache that wakes you up when you roll onto that side. If your shoulder has been setting the limits, it’s time to find out why and build it back stronger.

You’ve learned to live around it.

You lift lighter, or not at all. You skip the overhead work. Your golf swing has gotten shorter. Maybe you’ve had a shot or a round of PT that helped for a while, then it came back.

A shoulder that keeps returning to pain isn’t a shoulder that’s been fixed. It’s a shoulder that’s been quieted.

Why shoulder pain keeps coming back.

The shoulder depends on the muscles around it to stay centered and move well. When pain makes you protect it, those muscles weaken, your shoulder blade stops moving the way it should, and the joint takes load it wasn’t built to carry.

Rest and a shot can quiet the pain. They don’t rebuild what you lost. That’s why so many people end up back where they started.

Surgery isn’t always the answer either. In a large trial, the most common shoulder surgery for impingement pain did no better than placebo surgery at two years, and only slightly better than exercise therapy (Paavola et al., BMJ, 2018). The authors recommended starting with non-surgical treatment.

Find it. Fix it. Build it.

  • A two-hour evaluation. We look at how your shoulder, shoulder blade, neck, and upper back move together to find what’s actually driving the pain.
  • We look inside in real time. Diagnostic ultrasound in the clinic lets us see the muscles and tendons around your shoulder as they move, with no outside imaging bill.
  • Hands-on treatment from a doctor. Manual therapy, ultrasound-guided dry needling, and shockwave therapy to calm things down so you can start loading the shoulder again.
  • Strength you can measure. Force gauge testing shows exactly where your shoulder is weak, side to side, and tracks your progress in numbers.
  • Rehab that turns into training. Most clinics discharge you once it stops hurting. We keep going until you’re pressing, pulling, and reaching overhead with confidence.
  • One-on-one, every visit. A private, upscale studio and your own doctor of physical therapy. Each doctor sees no more than 35 clients a week.
