We utilize the combination of cutting edge physical therapy and personal training to optimize movement, alleviate pain and build sustainable strength.

If you’re anything like my private clients, I know your drive for success expands to every part of your life…and especially your physical health. Success without health, in my opinion, is one of the biggest areas of regret for many high performing people. Just ask the anyone avoiding the activities they once loved, the trips they wanted to go on, having difficulty rolling out of bed.
I fundamentally believe that your health care should be just that, health care…not sick care. The challenge is, however, the current healthcare model is broken.
Insurance premiums and chronic issues with pain and disease are skyrocketing all while patient and therapist satisfaction are at an all-time low. Insurance companies, not clients and their therapists, are making the rules.
I’ve experienced this firsthand as a therapist working in the traditional setting for multiple different companies. In fact I almost walked away from therapy completely because I felt forced to deliver generic, efficient but impersonal care. Like you, I knew there was in fact a better solution.
That is why I created Executive PT. By limiting our clientele to so few per therapist, I’ve been able to fulfill my dream of impacting the lives of some of the most successful men and women in the country who have become a part of the Executive PT family. We would be honored to do the same for you.
My best,
Dr. Dustin Howard PT, DPT

Whether you are recovering from a recent injury, attempting to have a better quality of life, or training for the next marathon or game, my job is to help you get there. The goal for you here is to get to know you as an individual, meet you where to are, and help elevate you to where you want to be. This likely includes treatment with an emphasis on evidence informed practice utilizing a combination of exercise prescription, manual therapy/dry needling, and modern pain science to prescribe specific treatment plans. In my 10+ years of treating, very few things excite me more than seeing someone overcome or achieve new goals they never thought were possible!
I’ll leave you with brief background on me. In 2011, I graduated from East Tennessee State University with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Since that time, I have been blessed to have the opportunity to become a board certified orthopedic specialist, obtain a fellowship in manual orthopedic physical therapy, and additional manual/hands on and treatment certifications. This has allowed me to teach others and work with a wide variety of individuals from those with low back or neck pain to professional athletes and everything in between. My wife, Kelli, and I live in Franklin and love traveling and playing outdoor sports such as pickle ball and golf.

If you’re reading this, it’s likely you’ve lost your strength or mobility and want to get it back. The problem is, what you’ve been doing to get your strength or mobility back is not working. If this persists long enough, it can leave you feeling stuck, weak, and vulnerable to a lesser life. The truth is, your body and your best life matter!
My biggest priority at Executive PT is to find out about YOU--your story and what it is you want out of this life. Then, create a workout and rehabilitation experience that empowers and works for you. If you’re looking to get your body and the best of your life back, then you are EXACTLY who I want to work with.
Last, here’s a little bit about me. In 2022, I became a Board Certified Sports Specialist after completing my residency with Vanderbilt! My love of sports has led to several opportunities including working with professional athletes and serving as the team PT for Vandy athletics. I have a dog named Scout and a husband named Blake, and we live happily in Nashville, TN!
If you’re still reading, we’re probably meant to work together.
